The National Contract Value Review (NCVR) is a UK wide process for using standardised pricing and contract terms for commercial research across the whole of the NHS – providing transparent and predictable research delivery prices.

NCVR has been mandatory in secondary care settings for late phase studies since October 2023. From 14 October 2024 NCVR will be mandated for all early phase and Advanced Therapeutic Medicinal Products (ATMP) commercial research in the NHS across the UK.
